Grace First Insurance Agency is the fulfillment of a long-held dream for President and CEO Connie Bauman. Connie was born and raised in Illinois. Having had enough of snow and anxious for adventure, she moved to Huntington Beach, CA the day after she graduated from high school and has never left Orange County. With a strong desire to help and serve others, Connie became a licensed Property & Casualty Insurance agent in 1999. She then took the amazing opportunity to purchase the agency where she had worked for 18 years and changed the name to Grace First Insurance Agency. The name is a reflection of her Christian faith and the company’s highest priority — to help others. As President of Grace First Insurance Agency, Connie strives to assist her clients with their insurance needs, to educate them about insurance, and to save them money! She enjoys owning her own business and being a member of the Fountain Valley Chamber of Commerce. Outside of the office, Connie is known as Betty Crocker Mama. She was introduced to her husband, Greg, by a friend during a cookie-baking session. Connie is still baking cookies today. At Christmas time, she bakes over 2,000 in one weekend! She and Greg went dirt bike riding on their honeymoon and have been married for over 30 years. Connie and Greg are active members of Grace Lutheran Church, Yorba Linda and of their Orange County community. She loves dogs, and her golden retriever is always happy to see her walk through the door and offer a walk! She welcomes visits from her clients. Come in anytime for a hug, a cookie and a smile!

I moved to Anaheim, CA from Puyallup, WA right out of high school and started a career in the auto industry at a Ford dealership. 40 years later, I retired from the car industry as the parts manager at Huntington Beach Ford. I married Connie, the love of my life, in 1985. We reside in Huntington Beach with our golden lab Crystal. In order to help my wife, I got my insurance license and joined the agency in 2018. I enjoy hiking, camping, and dirt bike riding. I plan a yearly motorcycle road trip with a friend where we enjoy our 7-10 day trip exploring and traversing the many interesting roads and sites of our beautiful country. When I’m not burning up the road, I enjoy helping neighbors and friends with small handyman jobs.

Hello! I’m Janie Hutto! I have been a customer service representative at Grace First Insurance Agency since 2018. I enjoy helping, communicating, and sharing insurance knowledge with our clients. I’m looking forward to growing my knowledge and expanding my responsibilities within the agency. I love working with this amazing team! When I’m not at work I enjoy being with my husband, family and friends. My favorite activities are boating, bowling and bingo!
